The SFBAA will be hosting its next "Target Breakfast" on Tuesday, August 8, in Fort Lauderdale. The breakfast will be taking place at the Jet Runway Cafe at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
This is our annual Women in Aviation Target Breakfast but everyone is welcome to attend!
We are excited to present Vallie Collins as our guest speaker, she was scheduled to speak at the General Membership Meeting we had to cancel in April due to flooding. Vallie was a passenger on US Airways Flight 1549 that landed in New York’s Hudson River on January 15, 2009. She will share the details of her experience during the flight and rescue of the event that has become known as the ‘Miracle on the Hudson’. In addition, she will share key learnings from the experience that will hopefully inspire and motivate all to treasure each and each day because ‘everyday is a lucky day’!
