Target Breakfast: Aircraft Operations To/From Cuba

The SFBAA is hosting a target breakfast geared towards Flight Departments & Operators, with information being presented about aircraft operations to/from Cuba.  It will be taking place on Wednesday, February 17th from 8-10am at the Jet Runway Cafe (located at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE)). Come join us for a complimentary breakfast and a presentation by the Charles Bishop from the Miami branch of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Maria Otero from the US Customs & Border Protection Office.

We hope these two speakers will be able to answer most of your questions about air operations to/from Cuba, as their presentations will feature:

• The current OFAC program in general, as well as the recent changes
• Categories of authorized travel to Cuba
• Importation/Exportation of goods to/from Cuba
• Authorized airports
• Rules for travelers to/from Cuba
• Rules related to providers of carriage by air between US & Cuba
